hardly defeated at kasserine by rommel's africa corps, american troops in north africa are reorganized by general patton. fanatic, vulgar, arrogant and ambitious, patton is however a skilled strategist and his soldiers manage to conquer sicily. temporarily sidelined for having slapped one of his soldiers in a nervous crisis, patton will return to the limelight to lead american troops to victory in the ardennes and to the heart of defeated germany.
