monster (2003)

aileen, a prostitute, commits her first murder in self-defense. the victim is a client who was using violence. the attempted rape unleashes in her a reaction that leads her to commit other murders. in what looks like a descent into hell the only hope of redemption is selby, the only person who loves aileen for what she is: a girl hardened by life who asks only to be special for someone. arrested by the police and accused of seven murders, aileen, who has come to the forefront of the media to be the first female serial killer in history, will be executed in florida at 9:47 am on 9 october 2002.
