alexander (2004)

alexander, departing from macedonia, launches his army against the persian armies that control western asia, then against the persian empire itself. it extends its dominion to what is now central asia, reaching the foot of the himalayas, where no westerner ever arrived, and also conquers the exotic india. what never happened in military history, alexander was never defeated in battle. inexorable, he pushes his army through deserts, mountains and jungles into mysterious lands, defeating anyone who dares to oppose them.
