the gift (2000)

annie wilson, a young widow with children, has the gift of clairvoyance. her quiet life, in a small town around savannah, is upset by two events: on the one hand, donnie barksdale, a violent husband of one of her clients, threatens her and her children if she continues to receive his wife; on the other jessica king, beautiful and spoiled daughter of a notable of the place, betrothed to the school principal, disappears without a trace. annie perceives, thanks to her paranormal gifts, the place where jessica was killed and her feelings lead her to accuse barksdale of her own crime.
