mamma sconosciuta (1956)

mara's husband, given up for dead, comes back to life when the woman has already joined another man. the latter, who considers himself teased, abandons her, but since he is sincerely in love with her, he joins her and saves her from the bullies of her first husband, who in turn considers his wife a little good. eventually the first husband dies tragically and the two can finally unite forever.
