where the heart is (1997)

a pregnant seventeen-year-old is abandoned by her boyfriend in a shopping center where, alone, without money, she gives birth on the floor. instead of being the beginning of a tragedy, his life will change positively by becoming part of a delicious and upset "family" of new friends.
