Tea with Mussolini (1999)

florence, 1934. a group of british friends no longer very young called ‘le scorpio‘, is shocked by the arrival of elsa former broadway star art collector and young lovers. with the escalation of fascism despite a gallant tea with mussolini, women will be interned in san gimignano, while elsa will work to save the italian jews as she is a jew. meanwhile, little luca, paolo's son, motherless and adopted by the group of ladies, returns from austria infatuated with elsa to help her in her mission.
