speriamo che sia femmina (1986)

in an old villa in the tuscan countryside live elena with her daughters franca and malvina, her niece martina, the maid fosca and her daughter and the old foolish very nice uncle gugo. one day elena's separated husband, count leonardo torrisi, returns with a bizarre project in mind: to sell a part of the property to set up a spa. the woman refuses. the facts precipitate with the casual death of the count; the core collapses: some leave for rome, others for the shores, while elena meditates to sell the property to nardoni. in the end, however, everything returns to its place and the ancient core of the house is recomposed.
