called roger dodger for his witty oratory ability, roger swanson is a cynical and arrogant publicist convinced that he has achieved an undisputed ability to manipulate women. his talent as a great seducer is stimulated by the surprise visit of the young and inexperienced nephew nick who knows the fame of his uncle and paws for advice on how to conquer the other sex. invited in his ego, roger accepts the challenge and sets up a real sexual initiation by guiding nick on a journey through new york's out-of-hours bars and nightclubs.
