redenzione (1952)

the young nicuzza gives birth to a blind son, the result of a relationship with a baron who then abandons her. the woman kills him and then the wealthy grandparents blackmail her: in exchange for silence she will have to give them the child, who will be treated, and renounce all rights over him. nicuzza then accepts, desperately, she kills herself.
