the naive pasquale is convinced that the money and gifts that come into his home are the result of the benevolence of ghosts who, according to what he heard, would have lived in his home for centuries. in reality the gifts lavishes them with the hands of the wife's lover who, discovered by her husband, passes herself off as a ghost with peace of mind for all.
