north country (2005)

when josey aimes, a single mother of two, returns to northern minnesota, she needs a good job and decides to enter an iron mine. the woman is ready to face a dangerous and hard job, but not the sexual harassment that she and the other miners suffer from colleagues, who fear female competition. when josey protests against her treatment, the whole community condemns her, but with the help of a lawyer the woman finds the courage to fight for the rights she believes in.
