madame x (1966)

holly marries an important politician, but during one of his frequent absences he yields to the court of one of his suitors. when she wants to truncate, the dude dies accidentally. her husband's family drives her away, she goes adrift but, when one day she realizes that an old accomplice wants to blackmail her ex-husband, she rebels and kills her accomplice. the court defender will be his son.
