Le notti bianche (1957)

coming home one evening, mario meets natalia, a young woman, with whom he establishes a love relationship. the woman tells him to wait every evening, on that bridge, for a tenant of her grandmother, of whom she has fallen madly in love. one night, while the two are together on the street, the woman recognizes the man who has been waiting for so long, leaves mario and runs towards him.
