la vergine di norimberga (1963)

the young mary goes to visit her husband max's family in an old castle on the rhine. here she discovers the body of a maid imprisoned in a diabolical torture instrument called 'the virgin of nuremberg'. the attempts of the landlords to convince her that what she has seen is the fruit of her imagination are rendered useless by the discovery of another corpse and by the appearances of a strange type with a hood.
