The Island Princess (1954)

the young daughter of the canarian ruler falls in love with don diego, who commands the army sent by the spanish government to colonize those places. after the death of the old father, the daughter is forced by the tribal elders to take charge of the insurrection to chase away the occupants. the battle is bloody, but the love of the two will help to restore peace.
