to conquer a widow a man does not hesitate to kill to get rich. when she refuses him he retaliates by accusing her of the crime. the poor thing ends badly, reducing itself to the most humble jobs to survive. the man, however, will not get away with it: the woman's children, once adults, will avenge her.
