la grande ombra (1956)

a man in venice meets a girl with an unedifying past and in precarious health conditions. he falls in love with her and leaves his girlfriend who, to get revenge, reveals the woman's background. the two leave to meet again when it is too late. for the pain and the illness the young woman is in fact dying.
