l'ebbrezza del cielo (1940)

some kids from a small town in the alps have created a "society of danger" for the study and realization of gliding. after several attempts, following the advice of a pilot aviator, they set up a perfect glider. the first flight, taken from two thousand meters high, happily succeeds, amid the enthusiasm of the villagers. in the following years the young people take the pilot's license and leave to participate in the spanish war.
