il corriere di ferro (1946)

a partisan saves the life of an american pilot hiding in a family of mother and daughter. the young man falls in love with the girl but, at the same time, he discovers that his mother-in-law is also his mother (who had a relationship with a soldier during the first world war). in the end, with relief, he learns that his sister is actually half sister and that, consequently, she can easily marry her.
