il campione (1943)

a boxing coach, former boxer, sees in a young man excellent chances to become a good boxer himself. he then takes it under his protective wing and trains it to become a champion. fame gives the head to the young man who takes a crush on a rich and fatuous lady. later, however, the boy puts his head in place and realizes that his coach's daughter is in love with him. everything ends up for the best with a beautiful wedding.
