honeymoon deferred (1950)

the joy that a former british soldier feels for the festivities reserved for him by the inhabitants of a country (because he was the first to enter as a liberator after the escape of the germans) is ruined by the false accusations of being a girl's lover and, as a result , father of her child. in the end the truth comes to the surface: the father is a young man of the place who then regularizes his position and the man can leave in peace.
