fat albert (2004)

fat albert and his friends are at their usual meeting point, a north philly dump. meanwhile, in the real world, a teenager named doris is watching reruns of 'fat albert and the cosby kids' on television. the sad and lonely doris starts to cry and, as soon as the tears touch the remote control, fat albert hears her. the corpulent boy with a heart of gold suddenly stops, then sinks into the television screen, until he reaches the real world, to help her. his friends, rudy, mushmouth, bill, bucky, old weird harold and dumb donald, follow him shortly. fat albert, the supreme problem solver, is determined to help doris: when, then, doris starts to get out of her shell, it is fat albert himself who undergoes some substantial changes. including the discovery of love, thanks to doris' half sister, an adorable high school student named lauri.
