juliet's parents prepare a reception for her engagement with the lawyer adolfo. randomly busa to their door a poor man who, mistaken for the tuner, is invited to lunch, also to avoid being at table in thirteen. after various vicissitudes the fake tuner, who manages to break the engagement between the two badly assorted young people, conquers juliet's heart.
