diamanti (1939)

a trader in precious, finding himself in serious financial difficulties, agrees to take part in a scam against an indian prince also involving two beautiful maidens, one of whom is completely foreign to the fraud perpetrated. the scam, however, fails and the prince, fascinated by the girl and understanding the strangeness of the facts, is content to get his money back without further legal charges.
