cento anni d'amore (1953)

film in 6 episodes: in 'garibaldina' the niece of a priest and a wounded young garibaldian fall in love. in 'pendolin' a concierge is witness of adulterous loves of roman high society in the late 1800s. in 'nozze d'oro' two elderly spouses residing in switzerland return to milan after fifty years to find everything changed in a day of fascist demonstrations . in 'purification' an attendant brings a letter from an officer, fallen in combat in war, to the beloved woman to notice that the girl is not worthy. in 'the last ten minutes' there is a tragic conversation between a partisan sentenced to death and his wife. in 'love 1954' an old parent manages to have his daughter reconciled with her husband about to divorce.
