canto, ma sottovoce (1945)

during the war, for fear of bombing, a young driver accompanies the members of the family where he works out of rome. during the journey the boy gives a ride to a young woman who is looking for her baby. the scion of the rich family falls in love with her. meanwhile, amid adventures and songs, the driver manages to break into the heart of the commendator's snooty daughter.
