candleshoe (1977)

an orphan girl, with a rather difficult character, is welcomed into the shelter for abandoned boys founded and directed by an old lady. relations between the two women are not easy and the young woman tries several times to escape. one day a gang of thugs enters the hostel trying to steal a treasure hidden by an old pirate. the lady's butler, after what happened, begins to think that the girl is hiding something.
