bread and roses (2000)

the problem of latin american immigrants who, despite being without a residence permit, are hired and exploited by cleaning companies, is very much felt in the usa. maya and rosa are two sisters who react differently to this exploitation: the younger one tries to rebel, while the more mature one fears that shaking the waters may cost her expulsion from the country.
