a young waste of time, the nephew of an american industrialist, makes the illustrious uncle believe that he had graduated in medicine and started his profession profitably. but when his uncle arrives in europe he begins to suspect the deception and, threatening to disinherit his nephew, offers him the clause to get engaged immediately with a girl he has chosen. through a series of misunderstandings and misunderstandings, followed by a number of various incidents, the young man ends up seriously falling in love with his fiancée, while his uncle also finds bread for his teeth.
