a night dancer, anna, is emotionally tied to andrea, who is about to marry, but feels an irresistible attraction to the barista of the restaurant, vittorio, a rough man who also tries to rape her. andrea kills the individual and anna enters the convent. some time later he meets andrea, acquitted in self-defense, and goes into crisis. the man would like anna to run away with him, but the woman decides to devote herself forever to her mission.
