star trek: generations (1994)

the newly launched spaceship enterprise b responds to an emergency call: three merchant ships carrying el auriani refugees are in great difficulty. among the survivors is dr. soran, a strange scientist who talks about certain experiments. seventy-eight years later, another enterprise, the d, headed by jean luc picard, intervenes in aid of the space observatory in amargosa, victim of an attack. the mysterious soran is still in the group of survivors and there is more than a hypothesis between the two episodes.
