Sonatine (1993)

murakawa, an established yazuka but now tired of the trade, is sent by his boss to the island of okinawa to bring aid to an allied gang. he reluctantly starts with some men and his arrival on the spot is welcomed as a provocation by the rival gang, which immediately eliminates two members of the group. after another attack on his men, murakawa takes refuge with his surviving friends in an abandoned house along a beach. until he realizes he has been betrayed.
