separate lies (2005)

at first sight, the marriage between james manning and anne seemed perfect. james is a wealthy and internationally known lawyer, while anne is a brilliant and charming housewife. they live in a magnificent country residence, have another home in london and enjoy a privileged and serene existence, where every concern is practically absent. it would seem absurd to think that such a relationship could shatter in a few tragic seconds. however, that's just what happens. it all starts when the husband of the manning cleaning lady is found dead on the roadside, victim of a driver who has not even stopped. at first, it appears to be a fortuitous accident. but after a short time james begins to suspect that their neighbor, the charming and aristocratic bill bule, who has just returned from america, could be the culprit of the car murder.
