Outbreak (1995)

sam daniels is a medical officer in the service of the american army infectious disease research institute. general ford, his superior, instructs him to fly to africa to investigate a deadly virus. noting the deadly gravity of the epidemic, daniels returns from the mission with the conviction that evil can spread even in the united states. at first the army's high command and his ex-wife, a virology doctor, think that the man is exaggerating. then, when in californian town the inhabitants begin to fall victim to a terrible disease, the red alarm goes off all along the line.
