kate and leopold (2001)

a scientist discovers a hole in time just below the brooklyn bridge and finds himself in the new york of 1876, at the opening of the same bridge. on his way back, he drags leopold, penniless duke of albany, on the hunt for a rich wife. upstairs from stuart lives kate, his ex-girlfriend, careerist with no time for love. after the first misunderstandings the two will end up falling in love.
