The Testament of Arkadia (1974)

the moon suddenly stops its wandering near arcadia, a planet apparently dead but which preserves vestiges very similar to those of the first terrestrial civilizations. when the base's livelihood systems begin to lose energy, koenig decides to start the exodus operation, and evacuate the inhabitants of alpha on arcadia. luke ferro and anna davis are excited to return to living on the world from which terrestrial life seems to have originated, but when the loss of power stops, the evacuation is canceled: alpha can still survive and koenig wants to find out exactly what it is happening. luke and anna, however, think differently and decide to force their hand to fate.
