il fanciullo del west (1942)

in an imaginary village in the american west two families have been fighting each other for several years. there is also a band of criminals whose leader has fallen in love with the daughter of one of the elders and who, on the other hand, understands with the naive and clumsy scion of the opposing family. among clashes, ambushes, infighting and shootings, it will be the naive young man who will destroy the criminals and marry the beloved girl, putting an end to the grudges between the two families.
