giacomo l'idealista (1943)

a young professor who fell into poverty due to the failure of a company badly run by his father, is welcomed by some nobles who offer him a job. his lover also lives in the castle of the lords, who, having been raped by the son of the nobles, is removed by the parent of the rapist to silence the scandal. but the girl soon tries to return to the village to rejoin her lover, but on the way back she is surprised by a blizzard. the poor woman arrives without strength, dying in the arms of her beloved.
