ghosts of mars (2001)

in 2176 mars is a dusty and inhospitable planet colonized by the earthlings and ruled by an austere matriarchy that presides over the exploitation of its mines. lieutenant melanie ballard is charged with escorting a very dangerous criminal to the capital, but discovers that the martian provinces are invaded by a mysterious force that transforms the miners into bloodthirsty mutants: the ghosts of the old inhabitants of mars have woken up and have all their intentions to take back the planet. the autumnal ally the girl can count on is the delinquent she keeps in custody.
