always struggling with the usual problems in the office, the world's most unfortunate accountant seeks consolation in squalid nightly television programs, unable to get it from a very unattractive wife and a monstrous daughter. at work he must submit to every kind of need, including the imposition of improbable cycling races and the usual company trips to ortisei, where he is forced to endure the diet of professor birkenmaier. things are not going better at home: his wife pina is in love with a vulgar baker and fills the apartment with bread. after having attempted suicide several times and the rival was uselessly confronted, fantozzi, taking note of the reality, manages to win back his wife. but the humiliations, for him, are not yet over.
