due cuori sotto sequestro (1941)

a young musician coexists with a student known in the home of a painter, but the young man's father bears the problem also because, in view of a profitable affair, he would like his scion to marry his partner's daughter. upon learning that the two lovers have financial difficulties, he proposes an immediate engagement to his son in exchange for a large sum, and perhaps after causing a sudden rupture to avoid marriage. the girl realizes that the devised plan is rather naive, she accepts an appointment fixed by a rich gentleman, who is none other than the musician's father and who, having known the girl and her true feelings for her son, consents to the marriage, giving up to their business drawings.
