1974: three boys go from paris to lisbon aboard a slightly battered citroen due cavalli to celebrate the socialist carnation revolt against salazar's dictatorship. before meeting with fathers, masters and patriarchs, they also celebrate their memories, their confusions of heart and their hopes.
