about a boy (2002)

will is a thirty-eight-year-old londoner. rich, single and childless, he spends his days avoiding any responsibility. to seduce a young mother she pretends to be the father of a child, but her plan finds an unexpected obstacle in the small marcus, son of another single mother. marcus is a strange 12-year-old boy with adaptation problems at home and at school. the mother, fiona, suffers from depression and attempts suicide on the day her son meets will. the latter would like to limit himself to being a spectator, but gets involved in the boy's life in spite of himself.
